About Our Founder

"You are a waste of space in this classroom" the first time I ever felt the effects of Societal Oppression was at eight-years-old; after receiving a disability diagnosis. As a Canadian Indigenous Disabled Women, I am no stranger to the impact negative words have on our mindset. After discovering over 80% of the worlds population experiences inequality, in some form, I took my life experience's navigating multiple underrepresented identities and my career in Social Justice I decided I wanted to have a profound impact on changing the way we approach societal labels. In 2019, I found 'The REAL Resiliency Project' where I finally found a place where I can create a community of REAL Resilient Individuals!
